ERLC Automation requires proper role and channel configuration before any of these features will function. Make sure your department roles, session channels, and ERLC integration settings are fully configured in
/config before enabling automation. Incomplete configuration may result in missed announcements or incorrect role assignments.Automatic Session Announcements
When a session vote passes, Burger Bot can automatically post a session announcement to your designated session announcement channel — no admin action required. What gets posted:- Session type (patrol, training, ride-along, etc.)
- Session host and co-host names
- Start time and expected duration
- Callout ping (configurable — e.g.,
@PatrolPingor@here) - Any custom session notes provided during the vote
- Navigate to
/config → Automation → ERLC Automation → Session Announcements - Set the target announcement channel
- Configure the ping role for session callouts
- Customize the announcement embed template if desired
Automatic Session Image Posting
Burger Bot can automatically post session images — such as your department’s uniform callout graphic, map overview, or briefing image — when a session is announced or when a session phase begins. Supported triggers:- Session vote passes → posts the briefing/pre-session image
- Session goes live → posts the in-session status image
- Session ends → posts the post-session image (e.g., thank-you graphic)
Auto-Promotion Based on In-Game Activity
If you have in-game activity tracking configured, Burger Bot can automatically promote members in Discord when they reach activity milestones in ERLC. This feature rewards consistent participation and reduces the manual workload on your HR team. How it works:- Burger Bot tracks session attendance and in-game hours (requires ERLC integration to be connected)
- When a member reaches a configured activity threshold, Burger Bot automatically assigns the next rank role in Discord
- A promotion notification is posted to your configured promotions channel
- Minimum hours in-game per promotion tier
- Minimum sessions attended
- Cooldown period between promotions (to prevent rapid rank-climbing)
Auto-promotion is disabled by default and requires your ERLC integration to be active and your promotion thresholds to be fully configured. We recommend reviewing and testing your thresholds carefully before enabling this feature in a live server.
ERLC Department Role Sync
Burger Bot can link your ERLC department roles directly to your Discord roles, keeping your server structure aligned with your in-game department assignments. What role sync does:- Maps each ERLC department (e.g., Sheriff, Fire, DOT) to a corresponding Discord role
- Automatically assigns or removes Discord roles when a member’s department changes
- Keeps department-specific channels accessible to the right members without manual role management
| ERLC Department | Discord Role (Example) |
|---|---|
| Blaine County Sheriff’s Office | @BCSO |
| San Andreas Fire Department | @SAFD |
| San Andreas State Patrol | @SASP |
| Department of Transportation | @DOT |
| Civilian | @Civilian |
- Navigate to
/config → Automation → ERLC Automation → Role Sync - Map each department to its corresponding Discord role
- Enable the sync toggle
