Keeping track of your team’s growth has never been easier. The /promotions command gives administrators and staff members a clear, organized view of promotion history — whether you’re checking up on a specific person or reviewing the full server log for your records.

Description

The /promotions command retrieves and displays the promotion history stored by Burger Bot. When called with a user mention, it returns a paginated log of every promotion that member has received, including dates, ranks, who authorized each promotion, and any accompanying notes. When called without a user, it returns the complete server-wide promotion log.

Usage

/promotions [@user]

Parameters

user
@mention

What the Log Shows

Each promotion entry in the log includes the following fields:
  • Promotion Date — When the promotion was issued
  • New Rank — The rank the member was promoted to
  • Promoted By — The admin or moderator who issued the promotion
  • Note — The optional message attached at the time of promotion (if any)
The server-wide log can grow large over time. Burger Bot paginates results automatically — use the navigation buttons on the embed to scroll through older entries.

Example Usage

View a specific staff member’s promotion history:
/promotions @Alex
View the full server promotion log:
/promotions
Use the full server log during staff reviews or audits to get a bird’s-eye view of how your team has evolved over time. It’s a great way to spot high performers who might be due for their next promotion.
