Keeping your staff team accountable and recognized starts with consistent feedback. The /submitfeedback command lets any eligible server member submit a structured, rated review of a staff member’s performance — all delivered directly to your designated feedback channel as a clean, easy-to-read embed.

Command Usage

/submitfeedback @staff_member [feedback] [rating]
ParameterTypeRequiredDescription
staff_member@mention✅ YesThe staff member you are submitting feedback about
feedbackText✅ YesYour written feedback about their performance
rating1–5✅ YesA star rating from 1 (poor) to 5 (excellent)
Feedback is anonymous by default. The submitter’s identity is hidden in the public feedback embed but is still recorded in the feedback logs channel for moderation purposes.

Permissions

Who can run /submitfeedback is fully configurable. By default, any server member can submit feedback, but server admins can restrict it to specific roles via /config.
Access LevelDefault
Any member✅ Enabled
Specific roles onlyConfigurable via /config

How It Works

When a member submits feedback, Burger Bot:
  1. Validates the target — confirms the mentioned user holds a recognized staff role.
  2. Records the submission — logs the feedback with full detail (including submitter identity) to the private feedback logs channel.
  3. Posts a public embed — sends a formatted embed to the configured staff feedback channel showing the rating, feedback text, and timestamp.

Feedback Embed

The embed posted to your staff feedback channel includes:
  • ⭐ Star rating (displayed visually, e.g. ★★★★☆)
  • 📝 Feedback text
  • 👤 Staff member mentioned (name + avatar)
  • 🕐 Submission timestamp
  • 🔒 “Anonymous Submission” label (when anonymity is on)
Encourage your community to use /submitfeedback after moderated events or support interactions. Consistent ratings over time give you a reliable picture of each staff member’s performance.

Example

/submitfeedback @Moderator_Jake "Handled the raid situation quickly and professionally. Great communication." 5
This would post a ★★★★★ embed to your #staff-feedback channel and log the full submission (including the submitter’s identity) to your #feedback-logs channel.
Abuse of the feedback system (e.g., spam submissions or targeted harassment of staff) should be managed by restricting /submitfeedback to trusted roles via /config. Burger Bot does not automatically filter malicious submissions.
