Burger Bot offers a free tier that includes access to core features including moderation, basic audit logging, and suggestions. Premium features — such as advanced automation, expanded session utilities, and custom embed branding — may be available through a Burger Bot Premium plan.Join the support server or check the announcements channel for the latest information on pricing and premium tiers.
Burger Bot works best with the Administrator permission, which covers everything it needs to operate across all modules. If your server policy requires granular permissions, the minimum required set includes:
  • Manage Messages, Kick Members, Ban Members
  • Manage Channels, Manage Roles
  • Read Message History, Send Messages, Embed Links
  • Attach Files, Use Application Commands, View Channels
  • Moderate Members (for timeout/mute functionality)
See the full Permissions Guide for a detailed breakdown of what each permission is used for.
If Burger Bot’s slash commands aren’t appearing, there are a few things to check:
  1. Burger Bot is in your server — Confirm it appears in your member list.
  2. Use Application Commands permission — Burger Bot needs this permission in the channels where you want to use commands. If using granular permissions, make sure this is checked.
  3. Discord sync delay — Slash commands can take up to an hour to appear for all members after the bot is first added. Try restarting your Discord client.
  4. Command permissions — Server admins can restrict which channels and roles can use specific commands via Discord’s built-in command permissions (Server Settings → Integrations → Burger Bot).
If commands still don’t appear after 60 minutes, reach out in the support server.
The best way to get help or report a bug is to join the official Burger Bot Support Server:👉 discord.gg/qfwwx2XJKwIn the support server you’ll find dedicated channels for:
  • General support questions
  • Bug reports
  • Feature requests
  • Announcements and changelogs
For bugs, please include: your server ID, the command you ran, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful.
Feature requests are welcome! Head to the support server and post in the feature requests channel. Describe what you’d like the feature to do and the use case it solves. Highly requested features are added to the development roadmap. You can also use Burger Bot’s built-in suggestion system in the support server if it’s enabled there — which is a fitting way to suggest improvements to a bot with a full suggestions module.

Setup & Configuration

Audit logs are set up in two steps:Step 1 — Designate a log channel:
/config channels auditlog:#your-audit-channel
Step 2 — Enable the audit logs module:
/config modules enable:auditlogs
Once enabled, Burger Bot will automatically post a rich embed to your designated channel every time a moderation action, configuration change, or significant bot event occurs. Make sure Burger Bot has Send Messages and Embed Links permissions in your audit log channel.See the Audit Logs feature page for full details on what events are logged.
Staff roles are configured using the /config roles command. You’ll map your existing Discord roles to Burger Bot’s three staff permission tiers:
/config roles admin:@YourAdminRole staff:@YourStaffRole moderator:@YourModRole
  • Admin — Full bot access, including configuration
  • Staff — Access to session management, suggestions, and feedback tools
  • Moderator — Access to moderation commands (warn, mute, kick, ban)
You can view your current role configuration at any time with /config roles view. See the Permissions Guide for a full explanation of each tier.
To enable the suggestions module:Step 1 — Set a suggestions channel:
/config channels suggestions:#your-suggestions-channel
Step 2 — Enable the module:
/config modules enable:suggestions
Once active, members can submit suggestions with /suggest, and staff can approve, deny, or comment on them using the suggestions management commands. All actions are logged to your audit channel.See the Suggestions feature page for the full command reference.
Burger Bot uses its own branded embed styling by default, including the Burger Bot color scheme and logo accents. Customization options for embed banners may vary depending on your plan. For the latest information on available customization options, check the support server or run /config appearance in your server to see what’s available in your current plan.

Features & Modules

ERLC stands for Emergency Response: Liberty County, a popular Roblox roleplay game with a large Discord community. ERLC servers typically have organized staff teams that run structured in-game sessions, manage player moderation, and coordinate events — all from Discord.Burger Bot’s ERLC utilities include:
  • Session Votes — Start a democratic vote for your community to approve a session start time or session type
  • Session Announcements — Broadcast session start/end messages to a designated channel with structured embeds
  • Staff Coordination Tools — Role-based command access that maps to ERLC server staff hierarchies
These tools are purpose-built for ERLC communities but can be used by any server that runs organized events or sessions. See the Session Votes feature page for full details.
If Burger Bot goes offline temporarily (due to maintenance or an unexpected outage), your server continues to function normally — Discord itself is unaffected. Here’s what to expect:
  • Slash commands will show an error or not respond while the bot is offline
  • Ongoing session votes or polls will resume when the bot reconnects
  • Audit log history is preserved — no past log entries are lost
  • Configuration settings are stored persistently and fully restored on reconnect
Burger Bot is designed for high availability. Planned maintenance windows are announced in the support server in advance. For status updates during an outage, check the support server’s status channel.
