These Terms of Service govern your use of Burger Bot and apply to every server that invites the Bot and every user who interacts with it. Please read them carefully before adding Burger Bot to your server.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting Burger Bot to your Discord server or otherwise interacting with it, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are adding the Bot on behalf of a server community, you represent that you have the authority to accept these terms on that community’s behalf. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not invite or use Burger Bot.

2. Use of Service

Burger Bot is provided to assist Discord server owners and administrators with legitimate server management tasks, including but not limited to moderation logging, suggestion collection, feedback management, and role administration. You agree to use Burger Bot only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with:

3. Prohibited Uses

The following uses of Burger Bot are strictly prohibited:
You may not use Burger Bot to harass, bully, threaten, intimidate, or abuse any server member or Discord user. This includes using moderation commands maliciously against users who have not violated server rules.
You may not use Burger Bot in any way that violates or facilitates a violation of Discord’s own Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, including operating the Bot in servers that exist to promote hate speech, illegal activity, or other prohibited content.
You may not attempt to exploit, stress-test, flood, or otherwise abuse Burger Bot’s commands or infrastructure. Any discovered vulnerabilities must be reported responsibly to the support team rather than exploited.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying logic of Burger Bot without explicit written permission from the Burger Bot team.
Violations of these prohibited-use policies may result in immediate and permanent removal of Burger Bot from your server without prior notice.

4. Service Availability

Burger Bot is provided on a best-effort basis. While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Planned Maintenance

The Bot may be temporarily offline for scheduled updates, patches, or infrastructure maintenance. We will announce planned downtime in the support server where possible.

Unplanned Outages

Unexpected outages may occur due to third-party service disruptions, Discord API issues, or other factors outside our control. We will restore service as quickly as reasonably possible.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue Burger Bot (in whole or in part) at any time with or without notice.

5. Limitation of Liability

Burger Bot is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
  • The Burger Bot team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Bot.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of Burger Bot shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service (which, for a free service, is zero).
This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory under which the claim is brought.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to remove Burger Bot from any server, or to suspend access for any user, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, if we determine that:
  • These Terms of Service have been violated
  • The server is being used for unlawful or harmful purposes
  • Continued operation poses a risk to other users or the integrity of the Bot
Server owners may also remove the Bot at any time by using Discord’s standard bot management controls. Upon removal, you may request deletion of your server’s stored data as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Service at any time. When material changes are made, we will announce them in our support server. Your continued use of Burger Bot after a revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
