# /roleinfo

> Show detailed information about a role.

Display detailed information about a role.

## Description

Returns a rich embed showing:

* Role name, ID, and color
* Creation date
* Position in the role hierarchy
* Number of members with the role
* Whether the role is mentionable, hoisted, or managed
* Full permissions list

## Required permissions

* **User:** none
* **Bot:** `Embed Links`

## Syntax

```text theme={null}
/roleinfo role:<role>
```

## Example

```text theme={null}
/roleinfo role:@Moderator
```
